Murals are paintings found on walls, ceilings,
or other large permanent surfaces. They go
back as far as prehistoric times, the term
became famous with the Mexican “muralists”
art movement in early 1900.
Much research and time goes into constructing
a mural. What ever the style, subject matter,
or color scheme, much effort goes into
creating the perfect story for the client.
"La Posada" is a 000 by 000 mural in a men's
resort in Palm Springs, California. We used the
desert landscape and botanicals to create a
Trompe'LOeil mural.
Painted on a wall at the end of a swimming
pool in 2004, the mural invites the guest to
take a stroll through the columns into an
imaginary desert garden.
